The Pergola from Reynolds and Markilux is ideal for the larger patios and terraces due to the different method of fabric support it uses. The fabric travels along side tracking meaning that there are no folding arms on show, and allows the fabric to project up to 6m away from the building.
The track is secured at the building end by the fabric cassette, which hides the fabric and mechanism meaning that everything is neat, tidy and safe when not in use. The other end of the track is supported by discrete but very strong legs which are secured into the floor.
Other than the larger area that an be shaded, the main advantage of this system is the additional strength that the set-up provides. Where as every awning that we sell is tested and approved up to wind class 2, the Pergola is approved to the superior class 3 meaning that it can be left out in less inclement weather.
All of the tracks, cassettes, brackets etc are powder coated to provide a stylish but hard wearing finish, and the colour can be chose from a selection of 6 shades. The fabric choice is huge, with stripes and plains to pick from and including materials treated with our patented SNC self cleaning stain resistant coating.
The Pergola is available as a stand alone unit of up to 5m wide and 6m projection, but up to 3 units can be joined together to give up to 15m width and potentially an incredible 90sq.m’s of shade! The operation of the shade is by remote control, and options such as a wind and/or sun sensor and infra red heater can be selected and added to the remote option.

Stylish Side Tracking
The neat and unobtrusive side tracks give an incredibly strong structure that can project further and shade in stronger wind.
The Pergola is only available with remote control operation, and is fitted with a strong, reliable motor that is completely hidden from sight.
A roller valance called a Shadeplus can be added to a Pergola, giving even more shading that can be adjusted as needed.
At Reynolds we teamed with Markilux as we were hugely impressed by the design, engineering and strength of the products. We have supplied and installed awnings for over 15 years and the Markilux products are by far the best we have used to date. The engineering is clearly German with things such as stainless steel fixings being used throughout the product, but the styling is beautiful to behold too. And being deigned and manufactured in a country that is on a similar latitude line to Britain, you know that they have been made to stand up to similar weather that we get here unlike the cheap alternative that are available online.
All Markilux awnings are covered with 5 year warranty and are fitted by our own experts. We are fully equipped with special Markilux hoists designed to safely lift the heaviest product into place. We will fully test and commission your blind, including adjusting the pitch which is the slope of the awning. But if you then find that the awning needs adjusting, give us a call as your first adjustment is complimentary.
With any Markilux awning, the case and mechanism is so strong that they will outlast the fabric cover. At Reynolds we are very happy to offer a recovering service, so if it has got stained, it has got damaged or you are just bored of the colour, just give us a call and we can fit a new cover for a fraction of the price of replacing the awning.
