2018 Trends and Colours

We take a look at 2018 Trends and Colours set to take over next year.

For most people, Christmas and New Year is about spending time with family and friends, eating yummy food and thinking about what you’d like to change or start doing in January, which includes your home’s interior.

Did you know that as well as blinds and curtains, we offer conservatory shading, wooden shutters, awnings and commercial solutions too – we’re specialists in custom made window furnishings, so whatever you’re thinking of updating, we can help.

Need some inspiration? According to ELLE Décor, here are the top 2018 interior design trends, as spotted in Paris…

Modern Tribal

Think bold, modern, prints.

Click here and scroll through ‘patterned’ styles to view fabrics which have a modern tribal feel and grab your attention.

One of our favourites is Maze Noir. We love this statement, monochrome design that can be made in to curtains and roman blinds.

Red Furnishings

Think striking, succulent, and decadent.

Click here and select colour ‘reds’, to see what you like most from our collection.

We adore Palette Redcurrant. We love the rich, ripe, red colour and it’ll really make a statement. It can be made in to vertical blinds and roller blinds, and it’s also flame retardant.

Optical Lighting Illusions

Think lines, layers and detail.

Click here and select ‘perforated’ as a style, to see our selection of optical lighting illusions.

Cream Filtra is just super. We love the fact that the slating is perforated, so light may twinkle through all of the tiny holes at certain times of the day. You could even try it in black for a bold contrasting look. It can be made in to venetian blinds and is water resistant too.

Comforting Cool Tones

Think linen, pearl greys and tranquility.

Click here to view the colours and selection of cool tones: ‘Whites’, ‘Graphite’, ‘Blues’ and ‘Greys’.

Our favourite is Citadel Duck Egg - this stylish shade of blue won’t go out of fashion and can be made in to curtains and roman blinds.

Burnt Yellow

Think textures, desert sun and colours such as curry, coriander and turmeric.

Click here and select colour ‘Yellows’, to see the selection of burnt yellows.

Check out Otto Turmeric - its rich coloured fabric brings warmth to a room and feels like a summer’s day. It can be made in to vertical blinds and roller blinds.

Concrete Accents

Think humble materials, simple shapes and texture.

Click here to choose the following colours and see our selection of concrete accents: ‘Greys’, ‘Graphite’ and ‘Charcoals’.

Make sure you look up Odessa Concrete. We love the subtle texture of this fabric and the colour will go with just about anything to add a sleek and effortless look to any room. It can be made in to vertical blinds and roller blinds.

Oversized Blooms

Think large scale, botanical references and forbidden gardens.

Click here and select ‘Patterned’ styles to pick out your favourite oversized blooms.

Our favourite is Bloom Raspberry. We love how this fabric adds instant colour and femininity to a room. It definitely ticks the oversized blooms box and can be made in to curtains and roman blinds.
