Our Hardwood Shutters

Our Hardwood range of shutters is crafted from durable hardwood, sourced from renewable forests. These shutters can be made to cover almost any window, and are available in 45 different paint and stain finishes.

The uprights, or stiles, are engineered with a laminated core to help prevent twisting and warping. And the joints are constructed using a Mortise and Tenon joint which is super strong. This makes a very durable shutter that is built to last.

Being a natural hardwood, there are many things that we can achieve with this wood that we cannot with MDF. We can stain the wood for example, letting the true beauty of the grain show through. We can make large panels, or span wider widths as the hardwood is lighter than the MDF. And most importantly we can shape these shutters, meaning we can cover arched windows, triangular windows, round windows ...... whatever you need covering.
