Small Roller System
Our small roller blind system is designed with a small roll diameter and offers an aesthetically pleasing solution for smaller windows. The size and design of the system makes it in complete harmony with the size of the window.
The patented spring loaded thrust bearing is fitted with a locking function ensuring a positive location of the blind into the brackets.
Operation of the small roller system can be by spring return, chain mechanism or 24v motor.
All blinds are fully made to measure in our own factory in the West Midlands. Planning is via a computer system that assesses the weight of the fabric to ensure that the load on the mechanism and any deflection on the roller tube is within specification to ensure that the blind will perform without issue.
Many fabric types are available to be used with the Small Roller System. All of our commercial fabrics are flame retardant as standard, and include ranges with special features such as glare reducing nattes, heat reducing SPC coatings and blackout solutions - all in a huge range of colours to suit any colour schemes.

We are always happy to talk about your design ideas and discuss your new looks.
This is the most basic roller blind, with the roller barrel, mechanism and fabric all on display and suspended by a pair of brackets
In a round style, the fabric cassette hides the mechanism and roller fabric leaving an incredibly neat and tidy finish detail at the top of the window when fitted.
Our patented locking pin fixing ensures that the blind locates into the brackets and is then locked into place to ensure the blind remains fixed securely.

The small roller blind starts as a basic 'naked' roller blind - roller tube, fabric and mechanism fitted with a pair of brackets. But being fully modular you can add the following options to your blind:
Fixing Profile - An aluminium back plate that the blind and components fix to to make installation quicker and stronger
Fabric cassette - Available in a round design, the case conceals the blind fabric and mechanism making the installation very discrete.
Side Guiding - Guides can be added to the blind system. The basic side guide is a tight wire system that runs down each side of the blind, with the wire threading through an eye at each end of the roll bottom bar to reduce the movement of the blind if windows are open. The premium aluminium side guide again runs down each side of the blind. The guides have a slot in them that the fabric runs in to reduce any light bleed entering the room around the edge of the blind.
What is the size of the Small Roller Blind System?
The Small Roller blind is available with 2 tube sizes - 20mm and 29mm. If you had a cassetted blind, the cassette is 63mm x 57mm
If I add side guides, does this make the blind blackout?
Technically you cannot call any blind a blackout blind in the UK (An EU regulation). Side guides would probably not be sufficient if you wanted the blind for a photography darkroom but for almost every other common application the side guides will make any room dark enough.
What is the maximum size the Small Roller Blind can go to
Realistically 1800mm x 2500mm is the maximum. However this is fabric dependent - If you pick a thick fabric and a fabric cassette then the drop we can achieve will be a little shorter. However if this is too small for you then we can easily switch to our Medium Cassette System.
