Stourbridge Lions were outclassed in last weekend’s home game against Bridgnorth, going down 7 point to 47.
Missing key fly half and Reynolds sponsored player Lewis Collins due to a freak gardening injury, and then Matt Pool during the game to a shoulder injury, Bridgnorth went in at half time up by 19 points.
Stourbridge started the second half with much more control, but a Bridgnorth breakaway and 50 yard run resulted in another try, which was converted.
By the end of the game, Bridgnorth had a 2 man advantage due to further injuries and a yellow card and ran in comfortable winners.
Stourbridge will be looking to put this defeat behind them in the run-up to the RUF cup game this weekend against Bedworth. Kick off at 3pm.
